Head Coach: Chad Grills

​

   Chad is from Peterborough Ontario, Canada. He played 4 years in the OHL for the Peterborough Petes and Soo Greyhounds, winning the OHL Championship in 93’ but losing in the Memorial Cup finals the same year. He turned pro in 95’; played 11 years, won three championships, two with Flint and the other with Muskegon. 

Chad has been apart of the EMHA coaching since 2014, this will be his first season with Oakland.

Chad resides in Grand Blanc, with his wife Danielle and daughter Raegan.

Assistant Coach: Joe Kalisz

​

   Joe is from Davison, Mi. He grew up playing his youth hockey for Little Caesars and Victory Honda. He played his Jr hockey in the North American Hockey league for the St. Louis Bandits where he finished last year as the forward of the year and player of the year. He then went on to play college hockey at the university of stevens point. He was a two time all American and a national champion in his sr year. After college he played 3 years of professional hockey in the SPHL and ECHL. He resides in Davison and owns an insurance agency through Farm Bureau.
